Khun Chang Khian is located in Doi Suthep – Pui National Park with the heighest elevation at 1200 MASL. Many people living here are part of Hmong hill tribes. They live a simple way of life and work as agriculturists for primarily lychee and coffee trees. This beautiful art of a drink is better than caffeine. Doi Khun Chang Kian has been producing coffee for almost five decades and It is a coffee that has won a prize at the SCAT (Specialty Coffee Association Thailand) since 2016. Over 400 rais makes the coffee at Doi Khun Chang Kian have unique characteristics, such as bluish green cherries fragrant aroma, and long preservation. Each year, from October to March, farmers will collect cherries with a cherry percentage of ninety and use both the wet and honey processes to adjust the taste and aroma of the coffee.
